Nellie Tier products were originally developed for our own use. Our aim was to formulate lotions, creams, scrubs and soaps that were luxurious, natural, safe and specifically designed for mature skin. The final result is a hand blended boutique range combining natural vegetable oils and botanical extracts with rich nut butters, pure flower hydrosols, vitamins, New Zealand Manuka Honey and Aloe Vera. Our creams and salts are perfumed with subtle blends of pure essential oils. To ensure maximum freshness we source our raw materials in small quantities and mix our product in small batches. We use a paraben free preservative.

Our business is named after a grandmother, Nellie Tier, a young Australian bride who settled in New Zealand in the early 1900's. She shares the label with another grandmother, Maud Mounteney, and with our mothers and all our aunts in a tribute to two generations of resourceful and intelligent women who taught us to believe we could try anything. They keep company with our sisters, daughters, nieces, grand-daughters and great nieces in an ever expanding family label that requires constant updating!
